MOBILE SITE MARKETING

The IBS Mobile Site is used by many attendees to plan their days at the Show. It is used to conduct product searches, find exhibitors and to access the MyShow Planner feature on www.BuildersShow.com. Last year’s Mobile App was downloaded by more than 15,000 people, and we expect this year’s Mobile Site to be used even more extensively. We offer three different options for advertising on the IBS Mobile Site.

IBS HOUSE PARTY
|

|
Networking is seen as one of the most valuable opportunities available to both attendees and exhibitors. New at the 2012 IBS is the House Party, a reception designed exclusively to be a fun, networking-friendly event. The event will take place 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Feb. 8 near the convention center and will be open to all IBS attendees, including exhibitors. It will feature food, an open bar and entertainment. Based on the size of the venue, attendance will be capped between 1,200 and 1,500 guests and will be a ticketed event.
Sponsorship Includes:
- Tickets to the reception
- Full page advertisement in the Exhibit Guide
- Marketing opportunity at the reception
- Online logo listings
- Reception attendee list

SOCIAL MEDIA WALL

The IBS will have a social media wall that operates in real time and offers a tremendous sponsorship opportunity. You can reach the whole IBS audience, but will actively reach those attendees who are posting daily or even hourly updates about their IBS experience. This is the most plugged-in group at the Show, eager to immerse themselves in all aspects of the IBS and to let others know about their experiences.

PRESS THUMB DRIVE

You can supply thumb drives to the registered press at the IBS. By doing this, you enable the press to download the exhibitors’ IBS media kits. Thumb drives can be branded with your company logo and loaded with your company’s IBS media materials. The minimum recommended thumb drive storage space capacity is 4GB. We recommend supplying 1,000 thumb drives (minimum of 500).

IBS POWER DEALS

At the 2011 IBS, NAHB launched IBS Power Deals. It was an immediately successful group-buying program and resulted in tens of thousands of impressions for our Power Deal participants and the hundreds of builders and remodelers who took advantage of these valuable 24-hour offers. Each company was able to offer an IBS-related deal that only users of the www.BuildersShow.com website could see.
As a Premium Power Deal participant, your IBS-specific deal is promoted throughout January 2012, which is the website’s most trafficked month. You will get tremendous exposure and the potential for increased new business.
Promotional Investment: $5,000 each product.

EMAIL LIST OF REGISTRANTS

For the first time, IBS attendees’ email addresses will be available for purchase. This opt-in list will provide you a tremendous email marketing opportunity before the Show, as well as after the Show. Email lists can be purchased for one-time usage or multiple emails. The lists can be sorted by attendees’ occupation codes.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION

If you want to reach a specific targeted audience at the 2012 IBS, you can include a huge banner advertisement (560 pixels x 160 pixels) in the confirmation email sent to each attendee online registration is complete. Your ad will be sent only to specified groups, enabling you to customize your reach. Buyout $7,500

CELL PHONE CHARGING STATIONS

Your company can sponsor the state-of-the-art cell phone/PDA/iPod charging stations, which are located on the concourse areas of the convention center. Each station can be wrapped with your company’s message, and your promotional video can play on the built-in monitors. The average mobile device can be completely charged by these stations in about 10 minutes, which provides ample exposure while the user waits for the charge to be completed.
Promotional Investment: $6,000 each (includes kiosk wrap and use of the video kiosk’s monitor. You supply the video and graphic file—we’ll do the rest.)

This all-encompassing sponsorship covers every aspect of IBS marketing leading up to, during and after the 2012 IBS. There is no better way to convey ownership of the IBS. In fact, the 2012 IBS will feature the tagline—“IBS Presented by Your Company Name Here.”
