Press Releases

Exhibitors at the International Builders' Show have the opportunity to be featured in an NAHB press release that goes to more than 1,000 newspapers and magazines across the country, plus more than 400 media who attend the show. Make sure your product is included by providing NAHB Public Affairs with a two sentence description of your newest and best product on display at the International Builders' Show. Submissions must be submitted online by Friday, December 17, 2010. To submit your information, click here.

In addition to the NAHB Product Press Release, all participating exhibitors, are given the ability to create and maintain their own unique "Virtual Booth", containing the information and links they feel are important to share with visitors to the IBS website. Virtual Booths can be customized to contain important contact information, product information, information about show specials, press releases and much more.

Press Kits

Display your product kits and news releases in the NAHB Exhibitor Press Kit Room in the Press Complex at the Orange County Convention Center. We suggest you provide 100 copies of your material and ship it for arrival between January 6 - 11, 2011. Any materials arriving before Jan. 6 will not be accepted. You may also drop off materials beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2011. You are responsible for packing and shipping any remaining materials at the end of the show. Any materials not packed after 12pm on Saturday, January 15 will be discarded.

Outgoing packages will be picked up on Saturday, January 15, but may not arrive for several days due to internal convention center routing. If your items are time sensitive, please take your packages to a FedEx/Kinko's location on site to mail.

Press Events - Onsite

Press Event Guidelines

Your booth must be at least 600 sq. ft. to host a press event. It is the exhibitor's responsibility to find out from the appropriate person in your company to determine if your booth meets the press event guidelines. Aisles must be kept clear at all times.

Press events (news briefings, product demos, etc.) may be held in your booth between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12; Thursday, January 13; or Friday, January 14.

All press events must be approved by the NAHB Convention and Public Affairs departments before Friday, December 17, 2010. It is your responsibility to contact the appropriate catering service and to notify convention security of your event. We will supply contact information for these offices upon approval of your request.

It is the exhibitor's responsibility to direct their invited guests from the convention hall entrance to their booth.

Your press event must be completed and all catering equipment, extra chairs, etc., removed from the exposition area at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled exhibit opening time.

Please note that NAHB does not distribute the email addresses or phone numbers--only mailing addresses of media attending the show.
